We long to be a self-sustaining community that requires less and less money for program and building costs, thus freeing up resources to be channeled to the church’s mission, and in support of our community’s individual and collective vocations.
In the meantime, as a new church start, we’re on church welfare. We depend on the gifts of mission partner congregations (listed below) as well as on the kindness of friends and strangers to get us off the ground. In addition to supporting Pastor Matthew and his family, your donations help provide coffee and meals for outreach and pastoral care, supplies for worship, materials for the Free Store and other projects, subsidize educational materials, as well as a number of other fun events and serious service work.
Thanks for prayerfully considering your gift. If you benefit in any way from SWM, whether on Sundays in person, via the web, or simply want to keep the mission alive here in Rochester, please consider giving, regularly or one-time.
Special Thanks to our Mission Partner Congregations and Supporters!
